How To Use Good Search

Welcome to Upper Midwest Alpacas!

Upper Midwest Alpacas (UMA) is a group of alpaca breeders and owners in the upper Midwestern states. Through the cooperative efforts of our members, we promote and support the alpaca community via networking, semi annual meetings, conferences, surveys, a quarterly newsletter, this web site, education programs, fiber and animal shows. For more information on joining UMA, please contact any board member or click here.

Our Mission Statement

We are a progressive community of alpaca owners and breeders, designed to promote and grow the alpaca industry. We have a passion to educate, inform, and maintain high industry standards. We take a leadership role in assisting alpaca enthusiasts to reach their full potential through networking, marketing, and nurturing.

Our Goals and Objectives

  1. Our semi-annual meetings are designed to inform members of up coming events, available resources, and marketing strategies. Our meetings are designed to provide our members with guidance in a supportive, friendly atmosphere.
  2. Our intent is to promote healthy, thriving ranches and farms through education, friendship and joint marketing efforts.
  3. We actively pursue various means of communication and group development to fulfill our Mission Statement.
