Huacaya, Female, Proven, Medium Fawn, Full Peruvian
ARI# 1164763 | DOB: 6/10/2005

Talk about good looking! Emma is the epitome of a Goldsmith cria. Emma is one of the prettiest alpacas on the farm. Her fleece has kept its character and fineness even through the years, In fact in 2009, we had her four year old fleece skirted for show. We have had great results out of her no matter who she is bred to the cria are blue/champ ribbon winners.

In the judge's comments (2006 Kentucky Classic), Mike Safley stated that Emma had the nicest head in the class a...

Bidding Info

Heatwave is a fiber monster, with tight bundles of zipper-style fleece, extremely dense. We have to trim his face so that he can see. He puts out more poundage of fiber than several of our other animals combined. He is darker than both of his parents, with a dorsal stripe and fading to lighter in the arm pits and chest. He has a smaller stature, weighing in at 145 lbs.

Look at those pictures; not touched up at all. He has NO primaries protruding.

His pedigree is power packed. His full Accoyo sire Don Marcelino (now deceased) is by the great Timoteo. Dam Emma, by Accoyo Goldsmith, was a color champion in her younger days. With bloodlines like that, Heatwave can't go wrong.

Sharon Loner looked him over at WiAFF in April 2015 (outside of the ring) and commented that he was very nicely square with nice straight legs. Very soft to the touch, although he has micron variation throughout his blanket, consistent with the color variation.

Heatwave has two cria that can be seen in River Falls. "Honey Roasted Peanut", white boy out of a dark fawn dam with black points (how did that happen?), and "Mirage," brown girl out of a medium fawn dam.

4th place Dark Fawn 2-year olds, WiAFF 2015, Judge Amanda Vandenbosch
